New Jersey is one of the most diverse states in the nation. But while people of various ethnicities all live here, they don't all live alike. 
The Census Bureau's 2006 American Community Survey provides an in-depth look at how various groups stand in a host of categories: Education, Employment, Income, and Family -- among others. This site will help you explore the numbers on your own. Simply use the drop-down menus to choose any two groups, and you will see a comparison table covering dozens of categories. Groups with a population greater than 65,000 in New Jersey are included. The drop-down menus list groups by size, from largest to smallest. |
